Ms. Preethi Shetty is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Kannada at the Patel Institute of Science and Management, Bengaluru. She has completed her Master of Arts (M.A.) in Kannada from Mangalore University, Konaje, and holds a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from Shri Gokarnanatheshwara College, Mangalore. With over 4 years of teaching experience, she has taught Kannada to students from State, CBSE, and PUC syllabi.

Currently, she teaches Kannada for both I PUC and II PUC students at the Patel Group of Institutions. In addition to her teaching expertise, she has completed a one-year computer course, enhancing her ability to integrate technology in the classroom. She also served in the National Cadet Corps (NCC), attended a camp, and earned a ‘B’ Certificate during the 2014–16 academic year, reflecting her discipline and leadership qualities.

She strives to promote Kannada as a rich and evolving language while fostering her students’ academic and cultural appreciation for it.
